"Do not think I won't kill you, dwarf." // "You would die before your stroke fell."

girlcalledh asked: Thank you for the follow ^^ and by the way, I totally agree with you regarding Desolation of Smaug. It's plain ridiculous how some people judge the movie based on 2min trailer, and whine about it -.-
It really is ridiculous, idk why people think that’s exactly how the movie is going to be. That’s like looking at promo images and throwing a fit about them

Anonymous asked: I wanted to say thank you for your opinion on The Hobbit trailer. I trust Peter Jackson completely with the Tolkien works and I believe that he will do his best to make them come to life. It's irked me for a while that people seemed to have used their negativity about Mr. Jackson (and how he's splitting the book into three, etc.) from even BEFORE the premiere and are now projecting it onto every minuscule thing... I just want to say to them to actually WATCH IT FIRST before judging its quality.
I feel the same way, Tolkien’s estate wouldn’t let Peter Jackson do anything that really goes against the books. You can’t just decide what a movie is going to be like by a trailer, they’re designed to grab our interest and give us a peak at what is in the movie. They’re by no means the final product but everyone just wants to pick them apart and say how they aren’t how they should be and they aren’t going to see the movie now. In the end it will be their loss if they decide not to go see the films because of one trailer.

My take on the trailer, and “fan” reactions
I loved the trailer for Desolation of Smaug. I’m not someone that likes when people add stuff that wasn’t even sort of a part of the original book. (ie, the 6th harry potter movie with the attack on the burrow, ticked me off especially with everything left out.) That being said I don’t find myself having a problem with what Peter Jackson has done/is doing with The Hobbit. Lets be honest, the Tolkien estate wouldn’t stand for it if they minded it, so if they don’t I don’t either. So let’s get to a few things I’ve noticed. Anyone can feel free to message me to talk more about it, or feedback their own opinions on it.
1.) Smaug. Looks like a dragon to me. Everyone has their own image of a dragon but when it comes down to it most of them involve being large and scaled. HE IS RED. I’ve seen so many people flipping out because Smaug isn’t red. You can tell from the shot at the end of the first movie he’s red, and he’s definitely red in the teaser trailer. I feel like people aren’t taking in to account that the inside of Erebor isn’t brightly lit, there are a lot of shadows and little light so of course Smaug is going to look a lot darker than if he was out in the sunlight but you can still tell that he is a pretty big, RED dragon. -My opinion, he also definitely looks like Benedict Cumberbatch, which I think is a good way of incorporating the actor they’re paying to voice the dragon, if you’re paying him might as well make the dragon resemble him a bit. (No, I’m not a Cumberbatch fangirl, he honestly kind of creeps me out but to each their own I’m sure people I enjoy creep people out,) And big deal, you didn’t hear his voice. Before the trailer came out all everyone wanted was to see more of Smaug than just the eye (which regarding the supposed size difference, if you actually match up the images, there isn’t a size difference.) So considering that so many fans wanted to see Smaug, it isn’t fair to complain that “they should’ve just had his voice instead” when PJ and the team gave us a trailer with Smaug instead of just his voice. If they’d have only had Smaug’s voice then everyone would throw a fit that we didn’t see the dragon.

So I just saw the trailer for the next part of the Hobbit…
What the actual fuck is going on.
The dwarves should not be seen in the barrels.
Why the fuck is Legolas there.
Who the holy hell is this new girl?
Why are these two unnecessary characters fighting orcs?
Why isn’t Smaug red?
Seriously, what the hell is going on?
I’m not even going to bother to go see the movie. It just looks so bad.
i’ve seen this like a ton, but smaug is definitely red. may not look like it with the shadows, but he’s definitely red.

I think the real question is why should a girl shave, preen and diet herself into oblivion for a guy in sweatpants and a t shirt who hasn’t trimmed his pubes in 3 years
